About Civil & Rural Engineering Department
Department of Civil & Rural Engineering was established in 1957 with the intake 120 students, One of the oldest institute and department in state of Maharashtra. The present intake of the Civil & Rural Engineering Program is 60 students.
The department has a well-qualified & dedicated faculty having academic and industrial experience. The department is having well established laboratories, equipped with all the necessary equipment’s.
The Department is proud of having strong and eminent successful Alumni, serving in various fields of Civil Engineering.Â
The department focuses on the overall development of students as Civil Engineers, by organizing industrial visits, expert lectures, seminars, workshops, implant training and inspiring them to participate in various activities like technical quizzes, paper presentation, project competition organized by department and other technical institutions.
The department also participates in various NSS to make aware regarding society needs and to install social & moral values.

- PSO1. Construction Planning and Designing : Perform Optimal Civil Engineering Construction, Planning and Designing Activities of Desired Quality at Optimal Costs.
